I’ve seen this Digital clock around some places – just figures, no case, only the necessary – time. Each figure has self-contained power supply and independent control, it can be fixed to any surface autonomously. A light sensor will switch the clock to an invert mode: the figures are white in the dark time of day and black at daytime.

This bowl is made using a new process designed to capture the beauty of Pewter and its unique characteristics. Recycled molten Pewter is swirled inside a mould to form a fine skin. The inside of each cast retains molten textures whilst the exterior is smooth and shiny. Bowls are serially produced by a technique that ensures no two are ever the same. …

Designer of Crushed bowls Julien de Smedt on the design: “The Crushed bowls show big-scale architecture applied on small scale objects. The bowls are composed of equilateral triangles and principles we use for big-scale computer modeling. Adding human ergonomics and aesthetics to the equation we have derived a series of vessels that are carefully crushed for everyday use”

Benjamin Hubert, a fairly young (1984) industrial designer from london made these lamps called Labware Lamps – A range of large geometric blown glass lamps showcasing the purity of glass blowing..
They look amazing – love the blue cord with the cork, everything, two or three of these would look great in the corner of my little apartment.. Also the “heavy lights” concrete pendants is right up my alley.

This shape & size looks great wall mounted or as a centre piece on a table.”
Looks great indeed!
